Shamir Iqtidar (b. 1999) is a visual artist based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He received his Undergraduate degree from the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi. His work has been exhibited in various galleries including; Gallery 6, Numaish Gah, O Art Space, and Khaas Contemporary. He was awarded the Nigaah art award for emerging artists in 2024.

I depict figures that do not resolve—they linger, suspended in ambiguity. Like the spaces they inhabit, they remain uncertain, symbolic of a broader fragmentation: of community, of cultural memory, of meaning itself.I construct scenes that unfold within a kind of hyperreality—fragments of a dreamlike present where memory, place, and longing intertwine. These layered moments blur the boundaries between the real and the imagined, the personal and the collective.
