Ekta Aggarwal is a multidisciplinary artist based in Delhi and Los Angeles. She has an MFA in Art from California Institute of the Arts, an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts,University of the Arts London, and a BA (Honors) in Economics from Hindu College,University of Delhi. She has received several awards and scholarships, including the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant, Finalist, Hopper Prize and Provost’s Merit Scholarship fromCalifornia Institute of the Arts, among others. Ekta’s work has been shown at REDCAT, Emma Gray HQ (Five Car Garage), Monte Vista Projects, Ladies’ Room, Steve TurnerGallery, The Box Gallery and Known Studio in Los Angeles, Paul Thiebaud Gallery in SanFrancisco, Ortega y Gasset Projects in New York, Made in Arts London in London, Galerie Romain Rolland, Lalit Kala Akademi and All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society in Delhi.She has participated in residencies at Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, VirginiaCommonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar and the Bemis Center forContemporary Arts. She has done curatorial projects for REDCAT and California Institute of the Arts Library.
